40 Days for Life is a life-changing event. These periodic 40-day campaigns of prayer and fasting, community outreach and peaceful vigils have saved lives, as women choose life for their pre-born children. It changes the lives of abortion industry workers who chose to find new jobs. It changes the lives of the faithful who participate as prayerful witnesses. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Steve also reminded us during his series on Leading that evil advances when the good retreat. You can counter the evil in our society by giving an hour, or several hours, of your time to pray during these campaigns. The next campaign runs from September 22 to October 31. Sign up at 40 Days for Life-St. Louis.
