Home Ministries ABOUT ABUNDANT LIFE

STRATEGIES

  • Encourage sexual integrity.
  • Offer practical resources to families with unplanned pregnancies.
  • Promote adoption and foster care.
  • Offer post-abortion healing.
  • Support seniors and their caregivers with practical resources and education for senior living challenges.
  • Provide education about end-of-life matters: organ donation, health care directives, living wills, hospice care.
  • Educate and empower people to affirm life and encourage participation in pro-life events.
The ministry was introduced in 2008 and enthusiastic volunteers are developing the strategies. If you have a heart for helping people live an abundant life in any of these ways, please consider how your God-given talents can be put to use. See the Volunteer Opportunities / Roles and contact Janet Roth (680-3263).

    Pregnancy Resources
As a family of believers, we love and care for family members and those in the community who are dealing with unplanned pregnancies. We can help you locate practical resources , like pregnancy testing and parenting classes.

    Adoption and Foster Care
Didn't Christ say to care for the orphans? Many children are or will be without the family they need to thrive. Maybe you want to share your love and add to your family or support adoptive and foster families. Learn more about adoption and foster care. Share your adoption or foster care experience. Contact Janet Roth at (314) 680-3263 or jrroth2@gmail.com.

    Post-Abortion Healing
One of every four pregnancies has ended in abortion since it was legalized in 1973. Millions of men and women have been affected by abortion. Recovery and healing are possible, necessary, and available. For confidential assistance contact postabortionhelp@gmail.com.

Organ Donation and Health Care Directives
Every 12 minutes another name is added to the national organ transplant waiting list and each day an average of 18 people die from lack of available organs for transplant. Our goal is to offer education about this life-affirming act of generosity. Perhaps you know someone who needs or has received a transplant, maybe you have had to consider donation for a loved one, maybe you wonder about the options. For information, contact Janet Roth at (314) 680-3263 or jrroth2@gmail.com.

    Hospice
What is palliative care? How it is obtained? Would I be a good volunteer? Learn about this enriching part of the health care continuum. Educational forums will be offered periodically.
