Steve has been serving at First Christian since 2002. He was born in St. Louis and, after receiving a degree in Church Music from St. Louis Christian College, he ministered in Kirkwood, Missouri. He also served in leadership roles at St. Louis Christian College before serving 11 years as Field Director and missionary with Ninos de Mexico. At First Christian he is heavily involved in finances, teaching the Followers Bible School class, coordinating part-time staff, participating in the praise band and also was an integral part in the coordinating of the building and finishing of our new facility. Steve loves to listen to Spanish praise and worship music, as well as read and play with his granddaughters, Jasmyn and Ilyanna. He and Janet (married 26 years) have been involved in full time ministry since 1981. They have three children, Becky (married to Matt); Andrea and Christina. Steve is looking forward to seeing God continue to pour out his blessings on this congregation and allowing us to expand our outreach in this community and around the world.
