Karla has recently stepped up to take on a new position at First Christian designed to further develop our small groups. Karla became a member in 1993 and in 1995 she began serving as newsletter editor and financial secretary. Karla is also involved in student missions, student small groups, junior high VBS (director), preschool VBS, MOPS, and teaches a ladies' Bible study. An alumnus of Southern Missouri State University, she was married to Scott in 1991 and they have one son, Dylan, and two daughters, Daryn and Darby. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, learning and spending time with her family. She loves the Cardinals and NFL and considers herself a “farm girl living in a large city.” Karla looks forward to developing an active small group ministry at First Christian this year.
