As the newest member of our ministry staff, Joe Mueller has old ties to First Christian. Interestingly, the church's beginnings can be traced to services held in his grandparents' basement! Joe came to first Christian as the Minister of Discipleship in June, 2007 after interning here in 2006 and receiving a B.A. in Bible and Preaching from Johnson Bible College. He is involved in helping to serve, coordinate and minister to people in our Small Group Ministry, as well as leading and preaching at the Wednesday night Connect services. He is also a student at Lincoln Christian Seminary, pursuing an M.A. in Old Testament and a M.Div. in New Testament. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, rooting for the Cards and North Carolina State, reading and watching Lost. He looks forward to helping people dig deeper into matters of faith and embrace true community at First Christian.
