Dennis is a Licensed Professional Counselor who joined the ministry staff in June 2001. He earned a B.A. in Youth Ministry/Christian Education and an M.A. in Marriage & Family Therapy from Johnson Bible College. He served as Minister and Youth Minister to churches in Tennessee and Indiana prior to coming to Florissant as Family Life Minister. He and his wife, Carol, have three children: Daniel, 12; Julia, 10; and Karin, 7. He keeps busy with marriage and family counseling, developing First Christian’s Care and Recovery ministries, hospital visitation, preaching, teaching and new member ministries. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his children, supporting Cardinals baseball and raising miniature Schnauzers. This year he looks forward to beginning a ministry for the special needs of stepfamilies as well as seeing First Christian’s Care, Counseling & Recovery ministries expand to reach others in the community.
