CELEBRATE RECOVERY
Holidays prove to be a difficult time for many in recovery. Grief, depression, alcohol and drug addiction and other hurts and habits don’t take a break during holiday seasons and neither do we. Our Celebrate Recovery groups will be meeting each Wednesday including Dec. 30 at 6:45 p.m. Childcare will not be provided on these dates. Real generosity is not a one-time act; it is a disposition and an ongoing lifestyle. It isn’t always big and extravagant, but it is expressed often and in simple ways. In an economic climate that gives us reason to be cautious and calculating, the opportunity remains to be uniquely generous. God’s “big give” of His Son, Jesus, sets the example and calls those who choose to follow Him to a lifestyle that is “rich in good deeds, generous, and willing to share” [1 Timothy 6:17-19]. It’s time that your life and mine become “the big give.”Join us for this new series of messages.
